Air Fryer Granola is such a quick and easy breakfast or snack option. Once you give this version a try you’ll never buy store bought again.
This granola is naturally sweetened with a few tablespoons of honey, which can easily be subbed for maple syrup or rice malt syrup if you’d prefer. I love making granola in my air fryer because it is so fast! It’s also great in the warmer months so that I don’t have to turn on the oven and heat up the whole house.

INGREDIENTS

Here’s what you need to make your own homemade granola (measurements are in the full recipe at the bottom of this post)…

Traditional Rolled Oats - Also known as old-fashioned oats.Almonds - OR you could use your favourite nut instead.CinnamonSaltHoney - OR you could use maple syrup or rice malt / brown rice syrup instead. Vanilla ExtractCoconut Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and stir well to combine.
Line air fryer basket with parchment paper. Pour out the granola mixture and level with a spoon into an even layer.
Cook on 180C / 350F for 10 minutes, stopping every few minutes to give it a good stir. The granola is done when the mixture is golden brown. Remove the granola from the air fryer basket carefully using the edges of the parchment paper and lay out on the counter to cool completely.

TOP TIPS

Be careful not to burn the granola.  The oats brown really fast, so keep an eye on it as it cook. Be sure to use traditional rolled oats, or old-fashioned oats as they are also known.  Quick oats or steel cut don’t work in this recipe. To store, pop in an airtight glass jar or container and store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze granola - just pop the jar or container in the freezer and store for a few months.  When you are ready to use just leave the jar on the bench overnight to defrost.  Play around with your own variations with your favourite nuts and sweetener if you’d like.Don’t have an air fryer?
