This versatile Garlic Yogurt Sauce is about to become a staple in your house! You’ll never want to buy a store-bought sauce again once you realise how quick and easy this is to make.
I like to think of this sauce as a simpler version of my beloved Greek Tzatziki. The truth is I don’t always have dill on hand to make up a batch, but this Garlic Yogurt Sauce is made with just 6 everyday ingredients I almost always have.
In just a few minutes you’ll have a gourmet, restaurant quality sauce that can be used in so many ways. I love to use this as a sauce for grilled chicken, or as a dip with some fresh pita breads.
But don’t feel you have limit yourself to those uses. I’ve included a list of usage suggestions below to get you thinking outside the box!

🥘 INGREDIENTS 

Here’s what you’ll need to make this delicious homemade sauce (full measurements listed in the printable recipe card below)…

Extra Virgin Olive OilGarlic CloveGreek YoghurtLemonSalt and Pepper

🍴 INSTRUCTIONS

Add oil and minced garlic into a small bowl and stir to combine. Allow to sit for 10 minutes. Add greek yoghurt, lemon juice, salt and pepper to the bowl and stir to combine. Taste and adjust seasoning if required.

Here’s a few ideas for how to use your garlic yogurt sauce…

As a sauce for your favourite meats like chicken or lamb. As a dip with some fresh pita bread or crackers. Serve it with my air fryer chicken thighs and turmeric rice. Slather it inside a kebab, gyros or wrap.
